Five card draw is a popular form of the game of poker. Many people first learn to play the game of poker by playing this version of the game. Acey-Deucy is a five card draw poker variant. In this game, the deck would include wild cards. Altogether the wild cards number eight with the wilds being the four aces and the four deuces (twos). Hence, this is where the name Acey-Deucey stems from.

Players ante up and are dealt five cards. Players may choose to remove up to three cards from their hands. To fill their hand back up to five, the players would be dealt the number of cards they removed. There is an exception to this however. If the player has an ace in their hand, they may opt to discard up to four cards. Following this round, more bets are placed. Then the player with the highest ranking hand would win the pot.

Heinz 57 is another variation of five card draw poker. Like Acey-Deucey, this game also features wild cards. And like Acey-Deucey, the wild cards are found in the name of the game. These would of course by the fives and the sevens.

Players ante up in order to participate in the game. Five cards would be dealt to each player once bidding has ceased. Betting would of course follow this round. Players may opt to call, which means they are matching the bid currently on the table. If they feel lucky, they may choose to raise the amount of the bid on the table. This would require other players to match this amount to remain in the game. If their cards are not satisfactory they can decide to fold or get out of the game. Following this action, three cards at most can be removed from their hands and replaced with other cards. These cards would of course come from the deck. If the player's hand features one of the wild card, the player may trade in four at most. Following the alterations to the hands, players would then make wagers again. After this, the highest ranking hand would emerge victorious.
