For the most part, very few people still use standard TV network broadcasting, in standard format, any longer, though some unfortunates still do. They offer some thirty minutes of local news broadcasting in the evenings and that is just about all that they are good for. Cable TV came along and brought better channel choices a long time ago, so if you haven't even switched to cable yet, then you are in dire need of some counseling with regards to your TV viewing choices.

Cable had its big run, until satellite TV programming came along with a much better product, at a much better cost. So now people are switching to satellite TV service by the millions in the U.S. alone. The reasons are very simple, because in TV programming there really is no way around the fact, that the better programmer with the most and the best channels, is the one who prevails in the business.

Satellite TV service has changed so much, since it first made its apearence with big, heavy, expensive satellite dishes and its limited channel choices. The equipment that you need to receive it has gotten alot cheaper. In fact you can get it for free from some programming providers when you sign up with them. Dish Network is just one of those providers that will give you and install for you, a system absolutely free of charge.
Thats everything complete, with no gimmicks or catches.

Cable can't compete with the number of channels that most satellite service providers have for their viewers either. Dish Network can bring over two-hundred and fifty channels to your home or place of business when you sign up for their biggest viewing package. Satellite service even costs less than cable service in almost every comparison test.

Cable is broadcast in a standard analog signal format and its the same way of broadcasting that has always been used, even back in black and white days. You can get cable service in digital format but they charge you extra for it. All satellite service providers broadcast exclusively in digital format, because it makes for a far superior picture and sound quality and they wouldn't think of charging you for this, like cable service providers do.

Another difference between cable and satellite service, is that cable companies charge you to be connected and it can be very expensive if you are getting connected in more than one room. Satellite service provider such as Dish Network do all their installation for free, in up to four rooms in your home or business. The one area that cable service bests satellite service, is in finding ways to squeeze money out of their customers. They have always been at the top of their game when it came to that part of their service.

Dish Network is the recognized leader when it comes to high definition TV viewing and no cable service provider can even come close to what they can do for you in this area. They have the most high definition channels and the best equipment for receiving high definition in the business. So if you are still using a cable service for your TV viewing, you have to ask yourself why, when you can get so much more and a better deal through Dish Network.
